A short companion for PDF Page Extractor: when it is useful, what it expects, and what to check before using the result.

What it does

Pull the pages you want out of a long PDF, or cut the pages you do not want by listing only the ones to keep. The chosen pages are copied into a new document, so the parts you left out are genuinely absent from the result rather than merely hidden.

Use the tool

Open PDF Page Extractor, add the input the tool asks for, run it, and check the output before using it elsewhere.

Input and output

  • Input: text.
  • Output: text.
  • Category: Web.

Privacy and processing

Processing happens locally in your browser. This tool does not upload the input to ilham.dev.

Questions

How do I write a page range?

Separate the parts with commas: 1-3, 7, 10- means the first three pages, page seven and everything from page ten onward. A leading dash as in -4 means from the first page to the fourth.

Does the original file change?

No. The file on your disk is only read. The result is a separate download, and the original keeps all of its pages.

Do links and form fields survive?

The page content comes across, but annotations such as form fields and internal links are not carried over, because only the pages themselves are copied into the new document.
