Questions
How long should a meta description be?
Around 150–160 characters. Search engines truncate past that, and they will sometimes replace your description with text lifted from the page.
Do Open Graph tags affect ranking?
Not directly. They affect how a shared link looks, which affects whether people click it — and clicks are a signal.
