A short companion for MAC Address Generator: when it is useful, what it expects, and what to check before using the result.
What it does

Privacy and processing

Questions
Can I use a generated MAC on a real network?
Technically yes, but if it collides with another device on the same segment both will break. Keep the locally-administered bit set so the address cannot clash with a registered vendor range.
